Frank Finlay's website announces his death today at 89. http://www.frankfinlay.net/

Casanova, Three Musketeers, Bouquet Of Barbed Wire, etc etc etc. One of our finest. RIP.

Two DDP teams await the guaranteed obit.

Another great loss. He starred in some iconic roles for those of us of a certain age.

Had forgotten he was the Witchsmeller Pursuivant until I swatched his imdb.

And shroud would be proud, in 1992 back to back roles in 'Stalin' and a Sherlock Holmes adaptation

"Thou shalt not eat the fruit of the carrot tree"

Very sad. I liked him he played Johnny Maxwell's Grandfather in the TV adaptation of Terry Pratchet's Johnny and the Dead.

Report here of the death of Douglas Wilmer at the age of 96: http://artintheblood.net/upon-terrace-rip-douglas-wilmer/

Best known for his work as Sherlock Holmes, but also played Fanning in Octopussy and Agrippa in Antony And Cleopatra in film and Space: 1999 and UFO on TV.

Usual riders and awaiting a formal report. Do check your deadpools. Not on the DDP for some reason.

On my Rotten deadpool. One of the original BBC Sherlock Holmes too, before Peter Cushing took over the role in the mid 60s.

My first Sherlock Holmes!

Didn't know he was still alive, and am very surprised he's listed in the RDP.

Chap here tweets that his uncle in law, Terence Conoley has died aged 96. https://twitter.com/MartinSLewis/status/718419627123032065

Probably best known as Peter Cartwright (Reggie's neighbour and train companion) in The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin and a couple of iconic episodes of Fawlty Towers, but loads of other bit parts too.

I've done a search here and online and can't find anything regarding Valerie Lush, born Christmas Day 1918. She was Auntie Flo in And Mother Makes Three/Five. Anyone know if she's still with us?

Death Notice from the Perthshire Advertiser indicates she sadly died on 14 May 2016 aged 97: http://www.bmdsonline.co.uk/perthshire-advertiser/obituary/bentley/47084017?s_source=tmsc_pe

A disgrace there has been no coverage of her passing.

Actors on twitter reporting the death of Black Beauty star William Lucas. He was in everything from The Prisoner to Last of the Summer Wine. He appeared in the Doctor Who story Frontios as Range after his friend Peter Arne, who was originally cast, was murdered before filming.

A DDP Qualifying obit will appear at some point.

We could turn that into a tagline...

Deathlist.net, 11 minutes faster than The Guardian

Fine actor, though.
