Derby Dead Pool showrunner...

"We're today's scrambled creatures, locked in tomorrow's double feature
Heaven's on the pillow, its silence competes with hell
It's a twenty-four hour service, guaranteed to make you tell
And the streets are full of press men
Bent on getting hung and buried
And the legendary curtains are drawn 'round Baby Bankrupt
Who sucks you while you're sleeping
It's the theatre of financiers
Count them, fifty 'round a table
White and dressed to kill."

Funny, didn't all the reports say that he was no longer able to speak after that tracheotomy? There is an article on http://www.monstersandcritics.com today where it says

Quote

Speaking to family members shortly before he passed away, the 62-year-old star said: 'I wish Mo was here, I can't believe he is gone.'

On the front page it says "for the first time, sees the top three DeathList candidates all passing"

What about 2008? The top three all died in that year's list as well

Robin Gibb's family are planning a memorial service for him at St Paul's Cathedral.

Quote

The late Bee Gees star's family are hoping to stage a huge tribute to the singer at the London landmark, which is expected to see music stars fly in from around the world to pay their respects.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'This will be the biggest send-off since the death of John Lennon.'

Quote

The star's funeral will be held near Thame, Oxfordshire, where he lived with his wife Dwina.

Quote

Robin's cousin Hazel Gibb-Shacklock yesterday (22.05.12) called for her famous relative to be posthumously knighted by Queen Elizabeth.

Barry has posted a video montage in memory of Robin.

Quote

The video shows many home videos and behind-the-scenes clips from the Gibb brothers as children and while on tour, meeting fans, on the tour bus and more.

http://www.extratv.com quotes from recent reports in the Daily Wail and the National Enquirer.

Quote

The little girl’s (edit: Snow Robin's) future could be a point of contention between Gibb’s family and the housekeeper, according to the National Enquirer. The paper reports that Yang is going after Dwina for a huge chunk of the Bee Gee’s fortune.

Haha, that housekeeper did the right thing and got herself well set up while the going was still good.
But then again: how desperate (for money) do you have to be to be bedding that old golliwog for eight years in a row?

The pretty salacious article in the Daily Mail about Robin's love (or rather: sex) life makes an interesting read, too.

According to an article in Monsters and Critics, Robin died not of cancer, but of kidney and liver failure.

Quote

The Bee Gees singer passed away last Sunday (20.05.12) and despite a two-year battle with cancer and a recent bout of pneumonia, his son Robin John - who is known as RJ - has revealed his death was a result of organ problems.

He explained: 'The end was peaceful and dignified, there were no theatrics. It was only later that I cried and cried.

'It wasn't the cancer that killed my father; those reports are wrong.

'Dad had actually gone into remission and the cancer was completely unrecognisable, it was too small to detect. No scan could see it. He actually died of kidney failure.

'I wanted dialysis and CPR. They said it was futile because he was a Stage 4 cancer patient. I can't count how many times I'd been told that it would be a futile procedure because he had Stage 4 cancer and he wouldn't make it. Yet he always came back.

'Three days before, he was sitting up and watching DVDs and then suddenly he had a seizure. He was then dosed with sedatives to deal with the side effects of his chemotherapy and his liver just couldn't process them.

'He deteriorated to the point where it started to affect his kidneys as well.

'Basically my father died of kidney and liver failure. It was a really sudden downturn.'
