According to Sky Sports' darts coverage, Andy Hamilton's father is "very ill". Nice of them not to tell us this before December 31st last year.

Why did you not put Ted Short or Gough Whitlam on the list like I said? They'll never make it to 2013!

Nick Cannon hospitalised with "kidney failure", which the black gossip sphere has deciphered to mean he's slowly dying from ingesting large amounts of steroids in an attempt to intimidate Eminem.

whilst sifting through a load of 45s that were passed on to me, I found one by Stan Freberg
Other than the fact that he's 85 and still with us, does anyone have any health news on him?

Former lightweight boxer Dick McTaggart, rumor is that he is not keeping well nowadays (no official word though). And he is 75 years young.

Speaking of Stan Freberg, his frequent (and probably even more famous) voice-acting partner June Foray is 94 and still working - she reprised the voice of Granny in some new Looney Tunes stuff last year.

I don't know if he'd meet the necessary fame criteria, but the Texan comedian Ron Shock has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of urethral cancer.
What are heavy? Sea-sand and sorrow;
What are brief? Today and tomorrow;
What are frail? Spring blossoms and youth;
What are deep? The ocean and truth.

Anyone suggested Jack Brabham for a previous list? 85 and on dialysis 3 times a week as long ago as 2009, that's not too clever.

I haven't heard of Ron Shock, even here in the states. I'll pay attention to him though.
