Candye Kane having a few ups and downs

Latest posting from her facebook page

Quote

having a rough, feeling sorry for myself day. Im surrounded by beautiful people who love me but im so hungry and havent eaten in 8 days. the IV food bag just doesnt cut it. But then I open another two fan letters, sending me $$ and calling me a fierce warrior and a super hero. I received a beautiful forged iron art piece from Roy Nystrom. Everyday, I am humbled by the love of people I dont even know. Ive been crying all day feeling fragile and doubtful. Thank you for your beautiful words of support and strength. Thank you for the love. ♥ I know tomorrow will be a better day.

Wishing her all the best as she continues with her treatment for pancreatic cancer

Thanks for this Yongle

He is on a draft list of about 40 names I have pencilled in to research for possible inclusion on my reserve 400 list for 2013!

The Simon & Garfunkel Facebook page alerted me to the fact that popular 1970's New York City progressive rock DJ Peter Fornatale is in ill health.

Apparently he was, as Peter Fornatale has died of a brain aneurysm.

I selected BlaDe Edwards, mainly because he's not on the main list, although there is a BlaKe Edwards there. Same person or an alter ego? Only Julie Newmar knows for sure.

Julie Newmar has cancer, according to the National Enquirer, which you don't seem to be able to view in the UK:

Patrice O'Neal died in Nov 2011

If one believes death cycles in 3's then in January 2013 a 3rd Stand Up Comedian who guest starred on the cult American Mockumentary Comedy Z Rock is due for an untimely death. So Gilbert Gottfried,Dave Atell, Joan Rivers, Jeff Ross or Jim Norton it's not looking to good for one of them.

Well known modernist composer Elliott Carter was born in 1908. He's still actively composing (maybe).

Are you suggesting in the near future he will be actively decomposing

Sitting pretty and still breathing on my Rotten Dead Pool this year. So notable enough for them to count him on their database.

Maryport is a disappointment for which there is no cure, but the annual Deathrace thread hereabouts provides welcome distraction.

Candye Kane is out of surgery. The Dr. said he believes he was able to get all of the tumor and while it was bigger and there was more of it than they thought, they believe they got it all. She was stable throughout the whole thing.

Since we're discussing Elliot Carter, we'd better start tracking the equally ancient and obit-worthy Ronald Coase on this thread. High-profile academic/economist with a stella record in the US but, originally from the UK. If he makes dead pool start lines next year he'll be 102 years and 2 days old.

Emmanuelle actress Sylvia Kristel, mentioned many times before on DeathList, is, according to the Dutch press, suffering from esophageal cancer which has spread to her liver. :skull:

And how do we know it was you that told us? Why don't you register? That way we would know it was you that told us.
