Some ones got a lot of time on their hands.
This is true my form is something odd,
But blaming me is blaming God;
Could I create myself anew
I would not fail in pleasing you.

We're winding down early for Christmas. All new software releases have been shipped for the year and now we can sit back and watch our stock price soar :D . Its either dick around on Deathlist or join the discussion about last night's episode of Dexter over in the corner.

Some more names to add

http://en.wikipedia....v%C4%9Br%C3%A1k Zdenek Zverak

75 year old Czech Actor/Writer who's 1997 film Kolya won an Oscar and GG for Best Foreign Film, and was nominated at the Bafta and European Film awards so his obit chances look highly likely when he croaks.

Not sure if he has any health problems but he is already older then the avg life excpectancy for a male from his country so I guess he is a distint possibity.

http://en.wikipedia....anda_Montenegro

Fernando Montenegro the first Brazilian Actor to be ever get an Oscar nomination turned 82 last month.

She is still actively working and could still be around a long time though.

http://en.wikipedia..../Norma_Aleandro

Norma Aleandro 75 is the Meryl Streep of Argentina

As a Best Actress winner at Cannes
Oscar nominee for her 1st Hollywood film
Her 2nd Hollywood film being directed by James Ivory in 2009
I would say whenever she passes her UK Obit chances are almost certain.

Another old time French leading lady who is still alive is Michele Morgan, born 1920:

http://en.wikipedia....%C3%A8le_Morgan

I will edit the main lists a few posts above to include Michele and Chorizo's suggestions.

EDIT: Done. Thanks, Chorizo, for the South American additions in particular. I must shamefully admit that I know virtually nothing about the cinema of that continent.

Added three more vintage Fraus to the main list on the previous page:

Ruth Leuwerik, born 1924, German

Sonja Ziemann, born 1926, German
http://en.wikipedia....i/Sonja_Ziemann

Lisolette Pulver, born 1929, Swiss:

They all seem to be fairly high profile in Germany and are apparently famous enough warrant to merit their own en.wikipedia articles, too.

I don't know if this is the right topic, but 2001 Miss Venezuela has passed away on Saturday (17th). The Guardian and the BBC had already reported on her but her death has been missed by the English-speaking mainstream media.

Thanks, Chorizo. I will update the main list in the next day or two. I had completely forgotten about Zeffirelli and I didn't realise that Resnais was still alive. Didn't realise Jodorowsky and the Taviani brothers were so old.

I was trying to find some information on Nathalie Pascaud (the leading lady in the famous French slapstick comedy, Monsieur Hulot's Holiday). Interestingly, there doesn't seem to be any information on whether she is dead or alive anywhere. She doesn't even have a page in the French Wikipedia and sources like IMDB don't have any info on her either. If anyone can find anything, she might be an interesting person to add to the list.

I just learned that Marina von Ditmar, best known for playing Sophie von Riedesel in Herr Goebbels' 1940s version of Münchhausen is still alive at the grand old age of 97. She only has a German Wikipedia page, not an English one, so the chances of a UK obit are virtually nil but I'll put her on the list above anyway. ;)

http://de.wikipedia....rina_von_Ditmar

She apparently comes from a noble family of Estonian and Lithuanian knights.

On another note, I watched the Seventh Seal for the first time in ages over the weekend and did a little research afterwards. Max von Sydow was born in 1929 so he is a good one to add to the list but unfortunately Death has died.
