We seem to have snuck past deathlist's 150,000th post without noticing.

So its taken about 2 years and 3 months to gain another 50,000 posts. Congratulations to the forum!

Did I mention that Amanda had a baby girl at Christmas?

Probably not, I'm still upset she didn't call it Pickles like I suggested.

Anyway, she looks lovely.

Congratulations Amanda.

Try this...
Floodmap
And enter England in the Search field to see how big the area under (lots of) water was.

West Texas and the Panhandle. I can live without them anyway.

I was talking to a guy I work with who lives in Sydney. He said he's totally disgusted - surrounded by flooding and rain and none of it where he lives.

Life’s Journey

It only happens once each year,
Book the train and pack your gear.
Your destination seems unknown,
As you sit there, all alone.

Something internal, in a rush,
Just like the toilet, we usually flush.
Constantly staring at the clock,
Are you waiting for your flock?

Savour the moment, don’t wait for the end,
Nobody knows, if you may extend.
Journey divided into equal parts,
Today is another, we’ll add to the charts.

Your train has left, from the town of birth,
Hopefully located, on planet earth.
The next stop, might seem the same,
It shall reveal, what you became.

HAPPY 55th BIRTHDAY MY DEAR YVONNE!

Thanks LG!

Yours isn't far off either.

I'm still mystified at the message from you that came through to my phone this afternoon which was dated today but also stamped 23:53

If you are able to post from the future it may well have implications for Dead Pools.

Not as mystified as me, FB assures me I sent you that message at 16.53 GMT. Have you done a Gary Glitter and moved to Cambodia without telling us?

Rest assured if I could post from the future I'd have been posting this weekend's lottery results and the winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup, dead pools would have been a little bit further down the list  .
