Record producer and husband of Luv' member José, Will Hoebee has died of cancer aged 64.

Here's what is probably his wife's finest moment (and from back in the day when Patty Brard still had most of her original face)

Dutch actor Piet Ekel, world famous in the Netherlands for his role as Malle Pietje in '60s children's comedy series Swiebertje¹, died this morning, aged 90. The main cast of Swiebertje is now extinct.

Dutch poet and author Gerrit Komrij died yesterday, aged 68.



It's quite a shock, especially since I completely missed that he was ill.

Here's a sample of his work:

Dutch actress Hetty Blok, world famous in the Netherlands for her leading role as Zuster Klivia in 1960s comedy series Ja zuster, nee zuster died today, aged 92.

Anyway, at 94 he's due to go soon, and this might be the first herald, so to speak. His being a journo of a respected paper might get his death a line or two in the UK press. Or maybe not.
