Washington Journalist Bob Novak has announced that he has a brain tumour.

They say they die in threes...

Jesse Helms
Tony Snow
Bob Novak????

Unfortunately, I have a bad hunch that this is yet one of those "near death" things celebrities like to tease us about.

A couple months ago, we all thought (including Kennedy himself) that Ted Kennedy would bite the dust. Now, it looks like he's doing great and could be back in the Senate ASAP.

With our luck, Bob Novak would probably survive this brain tumor thing and come out stronger than ever....
Will 2011 be it for the following?
Fidel Castro, Kim Jong-il, Dick Cheney, Margaret Thatcher, Billy Graham, Aretha Franklin, Ariel Sharon, Peter Falk, Elizabeth Taylor, Annette Funicello, Gerry Rafferty (RIP, gone right down the line to Heaven), Kirk Douglas, Zsa Zsa Gabor, James Garner, Jerry Lewis, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sir Richard Attenborough, Dick Clark, Harlan Ellison, Michael Douglas (joker)

Whilst you were in that meeting I was on the edge of my seat, watching paint dry, just waiting for a link.

Robert Novak, has revealed his prognosis is "dire" and announced his immediate retirement. :skill2:

It'll be interesting to see how long he lasts.
Don Wittman announced his retirement from CBC back in January and within a week he was dead. His prognosis was only listed as not promising.
But then again with your reputation DDT, you've probably just signed his death warrant and he'll be a goner by the end of the week

I love how despite having died almost 2 months ago, news on Michael Jackson's death is still the front story and is pre-empting Novak.

I've been suggested one for the DDP which DL can nick if they want. But as no-one at DL seems particuarly bothered any more, I don't think it's of too much worry.

By the way, TMIB, can you let me know a response to the issue I raised in my recent PM. Ta, my good man. :)

Right, I'll PM you the details. There's a couple of things actually...;)
