Bob Novak????
Unfortunately, I have a bad hunch that this is yet one of those "near death" things celebrities like to tease us about.
A couple months ago, we all thought (including Kennedy himself) that Ted Kennedy would bite the dust. Now, it looks like he's doing great and could be back in the Senate ASAP.
With our luck, Bob Novak would probably survive this brain tumor thing and come out stronger than ever....

DEATH be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not so,

Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill me.

Robert Novak, has revealed his prognosis is "dire" and announced his immediate retirement.

What are frail? Spring blossoms and youth;
What are deep? The ocean and truth.

It'll be interesting to see how long he lasts.
Don Wittman announced his retirement from CBC back in January and within a week he was dead. His prognosis was only listed as not promising.
But then again with your reputation DDT, you've probably just signed his death warrant and he'll be a goner by the end of the week

Heaven's on the pillow, its silence competes with hell

And the streets are full of press men

And the legendary curtains are drawn 'round Baby Bankrupt

It's the theatre of financiers
Count them, fifty 'round a table
White and dressed to kill."

I love how despite having died almost 2 months ago, news on Michael Jackson's death is still the front story and is pre-empting Novak.
Anyways, well done DL!

I've been suggested one for the DDP which DL can nick if they want. But as no-one at DL seems particuarly bothered any more, I don't think it's of too much worry.
By the way, TMIB, can you let me know a response to the issue I raised in my recent PM. Ta, my good man.

Oh, you mean the one to lob over to RK?
Right, I'll PM you the details. There's a couple of things actually...
