It's odd you know (quite odd indeedlydo) that this topic never seemed to take off.

Just a few weeks ago on our PBS station there was a double feature here. First the classic Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and then Victor/Victoria which in my opinion was one of the worst movies that Julie Andrews ever did. Anywho....I mainly watched it because of Alex Karas who I had interest in since he appeared years back in an episode of The Odd Couple with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.

Well, the point here is that there has always been something about Julie Andrews that has nauseated me...although she was fairly good in that crappy film The Princess Diarys.

So, does anyone know how old Julie is doing these days?

Well I can tell you Star Wars may have been slightly overplayed. Even the home alone films. Once it goes straight to home video then you know it's over.

In what way is the (soon to be) Shrek trilogy 'like a one hit wonder'? In the same way that dinnerladies is 'like a comedy' I'd wager.

Wasn't there a film where she got her tits out? If only it had happened in Mary Poppins during the Spoonful of Sugar routine, my childhood could have ended so happily. Even better would have been Mary Poppins pole dancing but I don't think they did that in those days. I think, from memory, it was called chimney dancing. Then again there was the routine with fairground horses that were on poles. Perhaps there was a hidden subtext in Mary Poppins. Must watch it again.

S.O.B. is the film where Julie got topless. It was also William Holden's last film.

It would appear that sweety honey was so beside him/herself that after quoting Bruno's post he/she completely forgot to rant.

Godot- as I remember, Julie Andrews had a fair set of norks on her at the time of making that film. Don't suppose they're much cop now though.
