Indeed.
He's so popular, he has his own thread ... For Brucie Click Here

Dodo deado, Dodi deado, Di deado, Dando deado ... Surely Dido's looking dodgy ?

Despite the high cost of living, it still seems popular.

He looks older since he left Catch Fraze and his perfectly groomed hair looks thinner and not as well kept! But he is still going , not sure if that is a good or bad thing??????? :o

Probably whining about the Elgin marbles still.

Wondering if the host of Mr and Mrs - the most successful show in the modest history of Carlisle based Border Television - is still breathing.

Anyone know?

Derek has just sold the family jewels - i.e. the rights to Mr and Mrs - for a shitload of cash. The show's comin' back without him. Only heard the story third hand. Seems he's still healthy enough to enjoy the cash. So far as I can tell he didn't whisper hoarsely; 'I'm not long for this world, take all I have.' It was more along the lines of a calmly conducted transaction after some tense negotiations.

Just sold?

MPFC, you need better news sources.

This is old news. This story was first reported in July and Batey is acting as a consultant.

He's probably already splashing the cash.

Aye, it was a friend of a friend jobbie. He's not - I think - doing a lot of consulting, more relaxing in the sun and spending his cash. He, his wife and his daughter live pretty well on his vast stash of money.
