In my experience, yes, some guests have the same longing for towels and bedlinen as zombies have for human flesh.

Dick Van Dyke is to marry again :wub: . His future wife is 39, a mere 47 years younger than him. I hope old Dick can handle the all the excitement.
What are heavy? Sea-sand and sorrow;
What are brief? Today and tomorrow;
What are frail? Spring blossoms and youth;
What are deep? The ocean and truth.

Let's also hope for him (and his fiancee) that he doesn't suffer from a dicky dick. Or perhaps we shouldn't.

Below is a list of the cast from the original Dick van Dyke series (1961 – 1966):
  • Dick Van Dyke, 79, b. Dec 13th, 1925 (Rob Petrie)
  • Mary Tyler Moore, 68, b. Dec. 29th, 1936 (Laura Meehan Petrie)
  • Rose Marie, 81, b. Aug 15th, 1923 (Sally Rogers)
  • Larry Mathews, 79, b. Dec. 13th, 1925 (Richard Petrie)
  • Ann Morgan Guilbert, 76, b. Oct. 16th, 1928 (Mellie Helper)
  • Carl Reiner, 83, b. Mar. 20th, 1922 (Alan Brady)
  • :rip: Morey Amsterdam, d. Oct. 27th, 1996 age 87 (heart attack) (Maurice "Buddy" Sorrell)

  • :rip: Richard Deacon, d. Oct. 8th, 1984 age 63 (heart attack)(Melvin Cooley)

I am very impressed that Larry Mathews, who was born on the same day as DVD, could play Rob Petrie's young son on the show so effectively.

Dick Van Dyke was an actor who married a lot of women and slept with some of them too. It will be a very sad day when he goes. I wonder if Morey Amsterdam will be a poll bearer at his funeral.

What a strange thing to say if the post directly above yours says that Morey Amsterdam died in 1996....

I see Dick got married to his 40 year old make up artist. Maybe the honeymoon will kill him.
This is true my form is something odd,
But blaming me is blaming God;
Could I create myself anew
I would not fail in pleasing you.

Winner at the Producers Guild Awards on Saturday.

Veteran actor Dick Van Dyke, star of Mary Poppins and Diagnosis Murder, was presented with the guild's life achievement award.
After waiting on stage for a prolonged standing ovation to end, the 87-year-old said: "That does an old man a lot of good."

He said that he was to have received it from Mary Tyler Moore but she is currently quite ill with Flu.
Mine's a lemonade!

Dick Van Dyke has cancelled an appearance due to "fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be diagnosed neurological disorder."

He should have been the replacement Peter O'Toole in the deathlist.

He has neurological disorder.
