hi, sorry so barge in on all of you here at this forum.i found it by accident.im american, living in england since july of 2002.my husband is british.i just started watching robins nest and have become interested and curious about this actor. i hate to bug anyone on here in case this isn't a serious site.what i mean by that is ,some of the posts ive read on here are funny and maybe this is purely satirical,i dont know. if it is,please forgive me,but i've come back and tried here because i'm really frustrated.they seem to have websites for everyone and everything now,so why cant i find one on this guy? he's a valid actor ,has had numerous series.i've searched all over the internet to find recent pictures-like 1990's etc .of him etc. every site i go to either doesnt say anything on him, rather it refers me to cliff richard items???
or the sites say the same things, and no pictures -even from the old series -with the exception of robins nest.the sites state the same info.which amount to 2 or so sentences(i've now memorized-the date of his birth ,his football team, how he lost his accent.)
that's it. it wasnt till i came on here that i found out anything substantial or current about him. i've typed in "richard o'sullivan-actor/r...british actor/r...fan sites/r...website etc.no luck. please, if anyone can help my e-mail address is: xmastree@excite.com
thanks alot.
thanks alot.

Debs - are you thinking of paying Richard a visit at his care home or something? I'm not sure he still does autograph signings or answers to personal callers (they have caller ID at the home you know), although an autograph request might be a true glimmer of sunshine in the dayroom.
Also, if you can share his date of birth with us, we can update our death database accordingly.
Lets hope he stands and delivers.
Thanking you...

I just watched Tessa on UK Gold. - I would. I'd risk slipping her one whether she was married to Blackburn or Mike Tyson.
Where getting laid is concerned ... I HAVE no friends.
If I was married to Blackburn, I'd even be gagging for Uncle Albert ... anyone but 'Mr Cheese'. Well done Tessa and well done Richard .. Hooray for love.
Who knows, Richard may still be gagging for it .. Ladies .. pay him a visit, and you may get a free gamming.

PS
I just looked at the Zardoz link ... call me crazy, but I'm definitely feeling Aileen Wournos vibes .. the slightly wonky, slightly too far open eyes, the vacant stare .. expect Tessa to go on a crazy killing spree sometime soon .. watch the headlines people.

Richard O Sullivan is a fine comic actor who brought treasures such as Robins Nest, Man about the House and Me and My Girl to our screens.
life, n : the whim of several billion cells to be with you for a while.
Dodo deado, Dodi deado, Di deado, Dando deado ... Surely Dido's looking dodgy ?
Despite the high cost of living, it still seems popular.

Me & My Girl ("A long-running but unexceptional hit vehicle for Richard O'Sullivan" - thanks BBC), My Girl and Me....
Good old LWT.
The Beeb has the low down:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles...299002036.shtml
And look, I've found the girl:

Seems that this is the only TV she ever did. I reckon this photo is back from then too. Also, this is the only picture google images throws up. There is another Joanne Ridley, but its an old lady.
I must say that I forgot that TBT was in this show, although I was probably younger than weatherman when this was shown on TV.
Looks like our Stuart has been busy collecting the scribbles of some of our most famous actors:
http://www.stuart.ca...com/british.htm
Can't believe he never manged to get Herr Flick of the Gestapo on his 'Allo 'Allo page
. Plus he's nicked our photo of Simon Cadell. Tell you what though, there are a few names on some of those pages that might be worth considering...

M&MG mentioned, but no mp3.
Plenty of others though, including Man About The House.

According to a recent interview with Paula Wilcox, Richard's health is much better than reported in the gutter press recently.
As far as I know he had been/still is(?) staying at Brinsworth House, Staines Road, Twickenham, Middlesex - a sort of home for entertainers funded by the Variety Club I think.
I received a signed photo of Richard not that long ago so contrary to what someone said previously he still "does autographs"
