Given the shambles over Saddam and the ensuing violence what does anyone reckon their chances of getting it commuted to life inside are?
About 1% chance I'd say, the Iraqi Government will learn from Saddam's death and no cameras will be present from now on.

I'm with you half the way, I think the cameramen will learn as well and some enterprising sicko/news editor will try and get a buttonhole camera smuggled in.

Maryport is a disappointment for which there is no cure, but the annual Deathrace thread hereabouts provides welcome distraction.

My sister is a fan of the site and we were talking about my DDP team.

"Do Condemned Iraqis count?"

"Yes, but they usually only get as far as 7 or 8"

Boom Boom.
Pardon me but I got to run
The fact's uncommonly clear
I got to find who's now the number one
And why my angel eyes ain't here

Excuse me while I disappear

What are the chances of these two getting off with it now?
They weren't really THAT bad, were they?

I'm against there eligibility on DDP. It's all unatural death, and it's certain they will be hung shortly.
It's not enough that they're due to be hanged, Banshees is determined to kick 'em whilst they're down by insulting their manhood.

I too have taken cynical advantage of the current "Islam vs ROTW" aggro in my DDP/HDP teams this year, proferring both:-
Ahmed Sheik Sharif (leader of Somalia's Council Of Islamic Courts) and
Mohammed Deif (suspected master bomb-maker, anit-zionist hero and military leader of Hamas)
for untimely, if glorious, returns to Allah following their successful martyrdom.

I'm hoping for next saturday the 13th.

That'll just be taking the piss...

Stop your whining. 400 teams times 20 candidates is 8000 names that have to be sorted, even if many of them are duplicates (they still have to be properly sorted).

Pretending that, unlike you, the two gentlemen who run the DDP have lives, it's going to take quite some time to do all that coding, so keep your panties on. It'll be up sooner than you think, and this will all be a faint memory.
Twunt Master Series (August 2007 - January 2008) (January 2008 - June 2008) (July 2008 - April 2009) (April 2009 - January 2010)

Uber Twunt Series (January 2010 - ?)

I still owe NAP

I understand that. I should have been more thoughtful and realistic. I apologize.

Snooker.co.uk will probably run the most comprehensive obit. Mind you, next to their site the game of snooker looks really exciting.

well...this sites home page is so exciting , I need to sit down .
From a 5 sec glance , I tend to think that the chances of an obit at this site in the next 3 months are slim . However , Mr Smyth will make the nationals tomorrow , have no fear .
