Ahmed Chalabi, who, for a second, was at the centre of world politics, trying to bring order to the Iraq clusterfuck after the Bush invasion (which he himself pushed for), has died of a heart attack at 70:

Poland's former interior minister Czeslaw Kiszczak is dead at 90:

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/05/us-poland-kiszczak-idUSKCN0SU2VQ20151105#grG4xFhc6xuOLOIG.97

He was involved in introducing martial law in Poland in the last decade of communism and cracked down on Solidarnosc. Just this year, he received a suspended 2-year prison sentence for that. At the end of the communist regime, he realized that his side had lost and was a transitional PM and negotiated with the opposition and Lech Walesa.

Scandal mired Nigerian politician Diezani Alison-Madueke, the current president of OPEC, is apparently suffering from cancer. She was arrested in the UK by the National Crime Agency earlier this year, who wanted to speak to her about bribery and money laundering, leading to rumours that she may be exaggerating her illness to avoid further legal action.

The arrest was pure window dressing, this lady will never be put before a UK court. Too many people of power & influence would suffer embarrassment.

They do love him here in da bayou. He no sooner got out of federal prison than he was welcomed back with open arms and he wrote an autobiography that was an instant best seller, around these parts at least.
