Politician of some sort and according to his Wikipedia biography on
Thatchers 80th birthday celebration he attended but not on foot
it was in a wheel chair since as they describe "His extreme old age"
confined him too one.

Looks promising.

And I think I can get use - to seeing Margaret Thatcher's name hanging on spot 36...

Of some sort?!

He had a very well-known affair in the 1960s with a lass called Christine Keeler. and was the instigator of British political scandal.

See http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A2627255 for more (it's not Wiki because I wrote it and therefore think it's better :D )

Christine Keeler is still alive, 63 and going strong. Although probably not for money these days!

How about some reality tv show reunites the pair of them for one final shag? What harm could it do now? Great tv and the aftermath would probably give us a fatality in the top 50.

Maryport is a disappointment for which there is no cure, but the annual Deathrace thread hereabouts provides welcome distraction.

I was intrigued to know how you knew she wasn't wearing knickers. But found the answer. For interest:

Good luck with the tag line. Since he was known as 'Jack' rather than 'John', how about "Jack in a box!"
"I must have killed more men than Cecil B. DeMille."

So deathlist is back on track going by the 'at least one per month' target.
I heard he was dead on the radio but I didn't know he was on the list so this was a nice surprise!

Anyway,

John Profumo is deathlist's 3rd success in 2006.
He is the 140th success since 1987.
The 2006 list is now in 15th place shared (1989 and 1990), out of the 20 deathlists since 1987.

Shadow List 2015.

Sam Simon, Robert Mugabe, Bhumibol Abdulyadej, Rob Ford, Bob Dole, Muhammed Ali, Qaboos bin Sa'id, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ian Brady, Peter Sutcliffe, Clive James, Caroline Aherne, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, George H. W. Bush, Nancy Reagan, Greville Janner, Rev Billy Graham, Henry Sandon, Sheila Sim, Desmond Tutu, Jean Alexander, Leon Brittan, Prince Philip, Sir Roger Bannister, Sir Albert McQuarrie, Mary Wilson, Pope Benedict XVI, Pope Francis, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Sir Christopher Lee, Stephen Hawking, Harlan Ellison, Jim Bowen, Fidel Castro, Grand Duke Jean, Kirk Douglas, Denis Healey, Valerie Harper, Ken Dodd, Sir Nicholas Winton, Jalal Talabani, Vera Lynn, Murray Walker, Lord Snowdon, Flora Fraser, Tariq Aziz, Bill Cosby, Liz Smith, Liz Dawn, Daisy Berkowitz.

I wouldn't go shopping yet. Profumo's also my second hit (and a unique pick) for my Hartleypool Deadlypool team, so there is a difference.

dya think he died of shock when he saw the outcome of his latest visit to the hairdressers? :)

(looks a bit like John Lydons dad there!)

come to think of it,given his meanderings among the female populace, maybe he WAS John Lydons dad!

TF, Is that a clever pun on the fact that his wife was the actress Valerie Hobson, who starred with John Mills in "Great Expectations", or am I giving you undue credit? :)
Oh, Mickey! What's EGREGIOUS?!
