No confirmation of this as of yet, and I hope he's ok, but Fats Domino has been reported missing in the Hurricane Katrina aftermath.

From what little I know about him (other than his music), he's been in poor health since the late 1990's...enough that he's almost completely stopped making public appearances. I don't know what those health factors are though. Another factor is that the 9th ward in New Orleans is a pretty poor area, so I'm wondering if, between health and finances, he had a realistic chance and the resources to get out of there.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
