Erm, why is Josco described as a "Tosser"?
Surely that's not something to look forward to when you've notched up 800 posts?

It was I who suggested it publicly, though I'm sure I wasn't the first to think of it.

Now I am getting close to being hoist by my own petard unless the mods are friendly enough to do a bit of goalpost-moving from time to time.

In that post you just suggested he was sulking and that they think of "an appropriate" title for Josco.
You didn't yourself suggest that particular unfortunate title.

No, not specifically, I merely meant to indicate that I have the utmost faith in our moderators' judgement as to what is appropriate or not and their ability to select something accordingly.

Now please stop trying to provoke me to make postings so that I, too have more that 800.

Anyone would think it wasn't something to be proud of. ;)

<edit>
A propos de Josco, this has been discovered round his way.
I wonder if he knows about it?

I'm not sure he's talking to me at the moment. :(

This has been somewhat hidden in your post and deserves more airtime. It is a site of sublime genius.
Pardon me but I got to run
The fact's uncommonly clear
I got to find who's now the number one
And why my angel eyes ain't here

Excuse me while I disappear

It is a site of sublime genius.

Indeed. Mysterious and strangely poetic.

From that webpage:

Asananc connects, via a big brass pipe, to an enormous frozen lake, fifty seven miles directly below. The explorer Lady Louise Kenilbaker was last seen alive here in 1924 as she entered Asananc, against all advice, on a personal quest to make contact with deep level ice-children. Asananc is not recorded on any OS map, but there are pencil sketches by Rushmount in the British Museum.

Hein

An inebriated Belgian woman died in a freak accident when she ended up beneath a heavy grave stone at a cemetery, local news agency Belga said on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old was on her way home from a bar in the Belgian town of Pulle in the early hours of Saturday when she took a short cut through the cemetery.

But she urgently needed to relieve herself and crouched down between two gravestones. As she lost her balance, she grabbed one of the stones which gave way and landed on top of her.

The public prosecutor's office said she died of suffocation as she was unable to lift the heavy stone.

The doctor seemed to think it was septicaemia caused by the piercing.

It's a very oldie but goodie but still those stories about Catherine the great and an interesting death involving a horse persist in some quarters.

Several myths about the circumstances of her death have probably originated soon after. A common urban myth states that Catherine died as a result of her voracious sexual appetite while attempting sexual intercourse with a stallion - supposedly the harness broke and she was crushed. There is no truth to this fable[1]. This myth is rather common even at modern times and most perpetrators of it fail to realize (or consciously ignore) that she died at the age of 67.

This myth coexists with another, less physically impossible but also totally unsubstantiated myth, that Catherine did engage in sexual relationship with a stallion, although at a younger age.

Another myth that she died on a toilet, particularly stating that the seat broke under her and she suffered injuries, which is only true in small part. Shortly before her death she collapsed from stroke, in a water closet room, but after that she died being cared for in her bed.

Maryport is a disappointment for which there is no cure, but the annual Deathrace thread hereabouts provides welcome distraction.
