Waiting for a death

Let me start off by saying on days like today when iam bored i probobly check this list about 5 times a day and usually the first thing i look at is the top in red 2/50 dead in 2005. After a while when hoping to see 3 and its not there it just takes the life outta u and i say its been way over a month since the last death

"Sister Lucia" When will the next come? Though it was proven that early on in the year was the least active time for deathlist activity but still no matter what the odds show its been some quite spell and this list is screamin for a death.

I have a list of my own and i have 4 deaths so far Schmeling,Lucia,Miller,Carson

and so its impossible to tell but on this list these are the next three that i exspect to be deathlist results

 

Simone Wisenthal - Nazi Hunter

 

Brooke Astor - Philanthropist

 

Claude Levi-Strauss - Scientist

 

those are my upcoming picks for the near future there are others but i say those three are most likely idk just for conversation share who u feel could be number 3

Mr Reaper is simply aware of the fact that one death very often leads to another. There seems to be a sort of domino effect where potential stiffs hold out for a long time, but when the first one goes, some others follow soon after. There is no logical explanation for these chain deaths, as the people in question don't always know about each other but there you are. Coincidence probably.

 

On a more scientific note, contrary to common belief, people are less likely to die in Winter than in summer. Extreme cold is easily dealt with nowadays, as most people have access to heating; extreme heat is often unavoidable and puts a big strain on a weak heart. The Deatlist should be coming out of the doldrums any day now I suspect looking at the current state of His Holiness and Prince Rainier.

The last observation was quite clear in Europe in the summer of 2003. ISTR that in a normal year death rates peak at early spring and late autumn. Surprisingly few people die on February 29.

But is it rare in the years where that date occurs or does it balance out at that point in time? This would be much akin to the number of births on that day and weddings and surgeries and.. (well, you get the idea)

Here in the antipodes wonderfully chilly airconditioning is the norm and cental-heating is limited to the lunatic fringe in such bleak climes as Melbourne.

I was aware as I wrote that my statements applied in the main only to the temperate zones of the earth, yet given the North-Western bias which Deathlist undeniably has, and the Eurpoean location of the next two most likely successes, edit: sorry just realised rainier isn't on the list /edit I didn't consider it worth mentioning at the time.

I was a cowboy boot man myself. I had a pair that I wore all day every day except when they were at the cobblers. The old cobbler told me one day that he could not re-sole the boots again as they had reached the end of the road. I decided that they should be reserved for special occasions (like weddings etc) and that I should be buried in them. I mentioned this to the then future Mrs Josco. They disappeared about two weeks before my own wedding never to be found. She swears it was not her!

I think this is the type of thing we're talking about Josco. The ones I coveted were similar but green and brown with an extra layer on the platforms - yeuch.

 

Wouldn't they be a bit too ostentatious to slip through customs in? especially if they were a couple of sizes too big.

Perhaps it says 'free fan' - they appear to be including one with the boots, perhaps to cool them down after wear and thus prevent rotting.
