He's caused a few problems since..... I wonder how many people have invoked his father's name whilst either murdering someone or being murdered. Could it be more or less than those that call out for some other chap by the name of Allah

Apparently Allah is the same guy. He's a master of disguise. Nobody knows what he really looks like.

Sort of like Keyser Söze.

Along with Maradona's 'Hand of God', one of the great televisual near-misses for me...

Eddie Cochran died today in 1960...

He died just up the road from me. Up the road from where I live, I mean, not from where I died. They quite often have memorial concerts and gatherings in Chipp.

Perhaps, if he had been travelling in a Tractor (like the rest of you f***kers down there in carrot crunching land do ) and not a Ford Consul, that lamp post would have died instead of him.

There is a lot to be said for Tractors.

PS: Apparently the Taxi driver of said Ford received a 15 year driving ban.

Clearly, he is back at the wheel.

Lardy, try booking him and invite some of your most hated to take a ride with him.

You never know....

PPS: Any chance of booking him for Fidel?

Linda was American, but I would argue the "talented" and "musician" part of that statement

Carrot crunching? I'd rather crunch carrots and drive tractors than be married to my own sister and have webbed fingers, Norfolk Boy

Indeed. Miguel de Cervantes, Spain's greatest writer, also died on Apr 23rd 1616, but due to differing calenders in Spain and England at the time, he actually died ten days before Shakespeare. 1.gif

Pete Ham of star-cross'd Swansea powerpoppers Badfinger became one of the more obscure members of the 27 Club when he hung around in his garage on April 24th 1975.

He couldn't live if living is without you.
