Nelson Mandela

If he managed to get over the death of his granddaughter last year, I'm pretty sure he can cope with deaths of elderly friends.

Given that he is 93, he is probably used to the idea of his contemporaries dying...

That's what keeps some of them going, I reckon .... outlasting other people.

Agreed. Although none dare think they can outlast Dunn.

or Zsa Zsa, perrinial tease that one

Wycleff Jean announced Nelson Mandela as dead on Twitter 35 minutes ago. 33 minutes ago he said "Whoops, my bad." Trending topic on Twitter right now? "Mandela dead." Good work everyone.

Good little prank there, almost as good as his candidacy for the Haitian Presidency :smiley_f:

Guest african guy

According to our African tradition an old man, or any old person must come back home and rest and wait for his last day.

Please, have respect for this great man as he prepares for his final journey.

Worlds media is preparing for the death of Mandela... http://www.guardian....e-cameras-media

C'mon Madiba. 3 hits in a month would surely make up for this year. Or if he manages to live another fortnight, a nice start to 2012.

Look like is was a stroke of genius putting him on my 2012 ddp well not if he dies within the next 9 days .

I wouldn't take SA's government's words as gospel.

I dropped Mandela from my DDP team, by reason of disappointing effort. Did I make a mistake?

Hein

I don't think so. I have a feeling that he will still be alive come the end of 2012.

Mandela had to be put on the list just for insurance.

It would be very embarrassing if he died and we missed him...

Great but forget to take 1 of the load of pills you have ,and bang.

He has seen enough death in his time i think he would give a little hint,

but then he could be taking us all for a little ride, lets hope he goes somewhere ,
