Death In The Family

Recommended Posts

Those of you who are my friends on Facebook may have seen that I posted to say my cousin, Michelle, had died, aged 35.

What I didn't want to say on Facebook is that Michelle committed suicide by hanging.

Thoughts and prayers (If you are that way inclined) shouldn't go towards me, even though the whole family is distraught, and it's certainly brought me down from the high of the wedding, but towards her two teenage children, Aubrey and Morgan, one of which, we fear, discovered their mother. Too many questions, not enough answers.

That's terrible news. My condolences...

How awful, for all of you, but especially the children. In my thoughts.

That is truly terrible, I agree with the post above. It's often the case that you don't get anywhere near knowing what you'd want to know with such a suicide. Thoughts for you and the family, and especially her children.

Sorry to hear this awful news.

My sympathies to you and your family.

Glad you had that little extra time to be there for her, totally grim and unfair never the less.

Thinking of you.

Take care.

Forgot about this thread until it popped up... My last biological grandparent (a grandmother) died last Friday. Not a natural death, complicated story.

Close friend of the family passed away yesterday morning, complications from diabetes.

Not sure when the funeral is.

Thank you all. I need some help. I need to find the words to a poem called Defying Gravity by Roger McGough. I have searched but can't find it (probably just being blind). Can anyone help?

Went to the funeral service yesterday for the friend of the family that passed away at the weekend.

My son sent his teddy bear adrift on his jacket which became a makeshift boat into the large font of holy water that they have.

Everyone apart from my wife and I saw the funny side of it
