Must be this then! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1108845/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_95_act Though he was Lennon in the original London production of JPGR&B.

Sad news if true, always value for money. In commemoration I shall have a couple of pints of the Black Stuff. I can do that.

    Carry On Dying

There doesn't appear to be, lots of posts on & around his birthday but nothing to suggest he's (Deceased). Only two mentions on Twixxer as far as I can see.

    Dead Pop Stars

I haven't read all of it but got enough info to find out who he was.

I just clicked on the link.
  8. Any idea what the turnout was in 2021 - only 30% this time round.
  9. It wouldn't be that much of a shock if Susan Hall was voted in; London did elect Alexander de Pfeffel after all.
  10. Anyway, just read in the local paper our election results won't be announced until late on Sunday! WTAF, as the saying goes.
  11. I do. A late-adopter - I was a "two-thousand-and-two"er for a long time -on the strength of Paxman saying it on UC. Logically, "twenty-oh-two" would be the correct way to say it. Show me anyone who doesn't say "nineteen-oh-two", "eighteen-oh-two" etc. Granted, by that same logic we should have been saying "twenty-hundred" but nobody ever did (not even Paxman afaik)

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

Looking at Young Odda's credits (he's Brian Vernal btw), I realise now I recognised him from Gangs of London; such is the contrast in the parts of Odda & Billy Wallace (his Gangs of London character) I didn't recognise him in GoL from TLK.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

I've just started watching this (2 eps in) and thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him. I do have to say, the story hasn't grabbed me yet (the opening was OK but - no pun intended - it slowed down).
  14. Just voted; I wasn't a bit of a Tom Hunt and took my ID with me. About as busy as usual (i.e. not very). We had a by-election for one council seat (on account of some dubious practise by the previously elected Councillor) as well as the Police and Crime commissioner, who has been in office ever since the post was created and is effin useless!
