Former British No1, Davis Cup player and Wimbledon Mens' Doubles finalist, Mike Davies, has died aged 79.

He's also credited with the change from white balls to yellow.

Tennis coach Darren Tandy did have a spot on the 2016 Pan Breed team. He doesn't anymore.

Obit, eventually, should be guaranteed as he was James Ward's coach.

Same. At least he wouldn't have been unique...

Was that a side effect from the chemo?

Indeed gets a qualifying death mention.

Despite that, however, it may have been a lucky break he died before the starting line, as I still can't find any mention of his age. Even the generic local death notice has no specifics as to how old he was.

Anyone hear or seen recent pics of Marion Bartoli that has got to be the most shocking transformation i have ever seen . She looks 30 years older.

Seems to me Marion is one of those girls who are naturally a bit chunky and her being thin makes her look unnatural and she now looks like a cancer patient or a drug addict .

I was probably one of the few who thought she was reasonably attractive before the weight loss, she was cute not a stunner but Now she looks awful. I wonder if she is ill or maybe has issues , rumours for years about her being 'close' to her father etc . One to keep an eye on for the future that's for sure.

Wasn't there a long list of ye olde Desert Island Disc survivors?

Dear Sir:

The Guardian's pop up adverts are annoying and impossible to avoid.

Without making too light of what happened to Petra Kvitova it reminds me of the joke:

If you keep food in food cellars and wine in wine cellars, where do you keep knives?
