Thor reimagined as a woman

Will she now be know as Hor?

It was one of the more bizarre twists in the Marvel world, is he/she going to have a sex change or is it going to be a "someone broke his hammer" kind of thing?

What puzzles me is the question: will a female Thor wield a handbag rather than a hammer?

regards,

Hein

Apparently the comic book fans are now getting upset that Captain America is going to be black.

They can cope with an African American president but not a fav comic book character.

There are a good few people that have problems with the president being black. If the president isn't a white middle-aged man, they get worried that he's not going to be a good christian.

Japanese cartoonist Yoshihiro Tatsumi dead at 79:

His mangas marked a turning away from escapism, more towards gritty, realistic story-telling of the disillusionment of ordinary people.

Ty Templeton, Canadian comic book artist involved in a couple of huge franchises, had a heart attack and is now in a medically induced coma:

Apparently, Templeton was shortly dead three times after his heart attack, but he survived, which the medical staff did not expect:

Neither cartoonist nor animator.

(Expecting "it was the closest category where else should I have put her"

Response "that's what catch-all Dead of 2015 is there for"

There. I sufficiently nipped that conversation in the bud.

Michele Wrightson, aka, Michele Brand, a contributor to the first all-women underground comics anthology is dead:

And on the same page it is noted that turkish political cartoonist Bedri Koraman died at 87. He used comics to report on the junta trials after the country's military coup of 1960.
