Myself and my fellow Anglican bishops could probably live with the turmoil of turning her out for our teams safe in the knowledge that our devout service will admonish our sins in the final reckoning, or summat.

His The Naked Ape and The Human Zoo are required texts to this day; whilst much of the science has been superseded in the fifty-odd years since they were published, they are still eye-openers and their wider truths cannot be denied.
