Ian Paisly has been moving about a bit too much for an 80 year old recently, he's giving an interview every news programme that'll have him. Seems fairly healthy at the minute but is supposed to be just getting over a long unspecified illness, prehaps next year-dying just before he becomes first minister.

this article (so hot off the press it is has tomorrow's date) is still referring to Ulufa'alu as gravely ill.

Well, wouldn't you agree that expanding the discussion to Former European Presidents And Prime Minister's would make the thread more informative and interesting? I really think so. It would give readers more options to post about and besides, it's better to have a thread which covers 'a whole category' then a thread which would only cover 1\3 of the category. This way, it's basically limiting a subject to one thread instead of four threads. You know what I mean?

Okey, but before I started the post I went online too check out all the chosen leaders of Europe who are 90+.
If someone else has 90+ suggestions outside Europe please place them here.

Maybe we should merge the thread with the Political Fraility thread, which serves much the same purpose.

I am not agreeing with this merge.
I started this post because the politics on this site are always very UK/USA oriented.
When there is a lot of attention to somewhat lesser important English or American politicians, a lot of important chosen leaders of other contry's are forgotten.
Take Francis Pym for instance he was very important for the UK, but when I saw on this site he was dead I started looking on all the European stations that I can get on my television and only the BBC had news about him and/or his dead.
That's why I think the site should only be foccused on Monarchs, Presidents and Prime Ministers and it should forget (unless they have a great reason) all the ministers, senators or other politicians under them.

These are just my thoughts.
