Imran Khan associate Shahid Hussain murdered. There's a PPP rule I think we dead poolers should begin to consider.

P - Pakistani + Political involvement = Potential points for dead poolers.

I am a big fan of European cinema but she is someone I hadn't come across yet. Looks like she would have been pretty in her younger days. RIP. :(

You are right! Definitely not my type. She looks like she would have been a nice person though. She has soft, gentle eyes in the photo above and the one in Book's link.

Anyway, Anica Dobra gets my vote as Germany's most gorgeous actress (yes, I know she is actually from Serbia originally). Absolute perfection:

Hildegard Krekel maybe in her mid-twenties:

She was rather a TV and comedy actress than a cinema actress.

She also synchronizes the German voices for e.g. Helen Mirren and Bette Davis.

Interesting to know that she played in a tv show opposite Diether Krebs, who himself died of lung cancer. He should have seen it coming. (Cancer translated in German is Krebs.)

Vadim Yusov The cinematographer who worked on the Tarkovsky films Solaris,Ivans Childhood,Andrei Rublev etc is dead at 84

Will another elderly cinematographer die soon to join him and Gil Taylor in a trifecta?

Tarkovsky is my favourite director. The cinematography in his films is superb, so Yusov must have had enormous talent. A sad loss indeed.
