I haven't heard anything about that) still is able to communicate some of his knowledge to other people, including students of anthropology like myself. I know persons, who have seen Lévi-Strauss rather lately, and he's still going strong! By the way, this spanich site shows not only a celebration of him, but also that he is still capable of having a "lecture" - both things only possible if the man's still alive! (Otherwise, it would be rather bizarre...)
