If she'd have held on five days, we'd all have gotten party pooper bonuses on the DDP. What a selfish bitch.

I'll always remember her this way, suffering from early onset vascular dementia and being pestered by the press for evermore insulting quotes about Beyonce.

ironic that she should die on the 3rd anniversary of Obamas inauguration!

They probably shouldn't have told her Johnny Otis had died. Or should have, depending on your point of view.

5 minutes after being told she'd probably have asked when he was coming to see her

This is a good omen for people who believe in omens. The five times since 2003 that the Number 1 pick has been a hit has produced 12/50 at worst.

There's a lot of low hanging fruit on this years list looking nervously over their shoulder, and that's not counting the random old folk like Michael Gough who just decided to snuff it randomly each year.

At 14 she was old before her time and now that her time has come, I hope she has a penny for the ferryman to see her across the blue divide.

I'll always remember when I saw her at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds a few years ago. It was her, Al Green and B.B. King.

Definitely one of the best gigs I've been to in a long while

Has the number 1 ever been the number 1 before? And looking at todays papers the number 2 could be number 2!

It's happened in 2006 with Lou Rawls on January 6th. This is the first time the DeathList's #1 has died since 2008.

Lou went in 6 days in 2006, so he'll now see us when we get there.

Deng waited till February to ping out. The 97 list picked up some big names hits though.

Hopefully separates the wheat from the chaff in the DDP as well.

You can always check out these versions of "At Last" on Billboard's website.

The last version is done by some chap called Low Rawls.

Would have thought the people at Billboard would have taken consideration to spell performers' names correctly
