Not Really Famous, But What A Moniker!

Recommended Posts

Not quite important enough for Political Frailty....

(Bangladesh) Ruling party MP Mujibur Rahman Fakir has died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Oh but there's more:

"Fakir hit the news several times while serving as a junior minister.

Incidents like beating up a college teacher and stripping him off his clothes, shaving off people’s head and publicly announcing to marry a female MP aspirant in his constituency brought him up in the headlines."

OK not sure the veracity of this story. I was GOING to post it in Interesting Ways To Die, what with a guy jumping into a pool of glacier melt water waterfall in Glacier Ntl Park, Montana.

That was until I saw his supposed name: Clint Cory Not Afraid

I've taken a photo of the story in case an editor was goofing around and will later fix it. Sure, there are some Native Americans in Montana, so maybe the name is legit. But I don't know...... Have reservations (see what I did there)

I don't know how famous she is but Lilia Cuntapay certainly has a name worthy for this thread.

Edit - And one which gets past the swear filter too.

Especially as Lilia used to be a brand of, er, feminine hygiene product.

He got a number of high profile publication obits (Canadian) for being a regular on David Letterman's show; not exactly 'not famous'. I posted his obit elsewhere musta forgot here on DL. As I said, he was from Regina (Sask.), which rhymes with....

I can't link to it cuz it's an online subscription and you won't let us post images, so...

Alive Aaron Williams, 78, had his obit in Wednesdays Lake Charles, paper (the American Press)

Even when he's dead he's Alive!

Aha!  I was expecting that one to appear in the 'How Long Till We're Dickless' thread.

But he certainly deserves his place here.

Obviously he's still alive but this thread seems as good a place as any. The controversial ruling about the bloke who escaped jail after beating his wife with a cricket bat named Mustafa Bashir (must-have-a-bash-here) as the culprit.

Just me, then?
