What I'm interested in is reasons to vote for Ed Miliband and there don't really seem to be any other than to get Cameron out. I wonder how many times people in the eighties said that Kinnock would win the next election when he used to have big leads in the polls and then he didn't. How can you be so confident when Miliband is down? This is a bit harsh on Miliband; energy price freeze, jobs guarantee for long term unemployed and reduction in tuition fees. How can you be so confident when Miliband is down? Kinnock had the opposite problem to Milliband he was an excellent speaker and laid out his left of centre stall for all to see. Yet his lack of judgement (Sheffield) and a hostile right wing press meant the 1992 campaign ended in failure but if the Torys had lost in 1992 would they have been out of power for 18 years? So now he's just officially dead. In fact you can bet your life this guy was a massive fan of the other Chris Martin. (DJL still has trouble navigating the biases and factional allegiances of all these Fleet Street rags... In any case, he's going during the present parliament. If my local council is doing what I consider to be a great job, why would I vote them out because their colleagues at Westminster are arseholes?
