Anyone else fancy a sweep-stake on who the next soap actor to die will be.

I'll pick Jean Alexander.

NO!

Not sure what the point your making is, if you don't want to be part of it just don't enter.

I predict bill teacher.

Can you tell me what soap Bill Teacher appeared in and as what character?

your mom.

I didn't realise you were a Brummie, MK.

That's a bit off Toastie.

You have now accused the good folk of Birmingham of being, well, illiterate.

Considering half the population of Birmingham speak Urdu & the majority of Brummies pronounce the phrase 'cup of tea' as 'kipper tie', then you have a valid point MK ;)

Menawhile, back on topic..

Bill Treacher played Arthur Fowler in Eastenders in the late 1980s/early 1990s.

But I'll vote for June Brown (also EastEnders stalwart).. she's getting on a bit for a smoker.

Not a character as such, but William Teacher can be found behind the bar in EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale etc.

Will go with Zsa Zsa being the next soap star to die she was in an episode of Knots Landing in the 1980's, so she has a very flimsy link to being a soap star. If i was to have a proper pick i would probably go for Sheila Mercier she is 97 and can't go on forever, though i think June Brown 89 and a heavy smoker, Freddie Jones 88, Jean Alexander 90 and recovering from a stroke are worth keeping an eye on.

Valid point. 1-1.. a score Aston Villa would indeed relish.

Anyone else fancy a sweep-stake on who the next soap actor to die will be. You can't have the same actor as another entrant,

Deathray - Jean Alexander (Hilda Ogen in Corrie) - 89 years old

Cat O'Falk - Bill Treacher (Arthur Fowler in Eastenders) - 85 years old

Scraggy Taters - June Brown (Dot Cotton in EastEners) - 89 years old.

Can I have Sheila Mercier?

Being a Brummie, Scraggy will know the difference between a buffalo and a bison.

For non Brummies, the difference is you can't wash your hands in a buffalo.
