There's a picture on the front page of the BBC website.
Certainly looks like him.

It was reported that Gaddafi died of his wounds whilst being transported to hospital.
It now seems he was executed and dragged through the streets of Sirte.

Gaddafi IMO was a vile human being you only have to look at how his family treated other human beings to see the father's beliefs and his beliefs . I also believe gaddafi spent a lot of money in the islamification of non Islamic countries. He when out in the right way IMO how many people did he torture and kill?
good riddance to bad rubbish.
Trust people and they will be true to you , treat them greatly and they will show themselves to be great .

But on a less selfish note, good riddance. Even if I did appear on breakfast television back in 1986 due to him.

For those who doubt the event of death in it's improbable and unpredictable, nevertheless festive form, I think today you accept that it's choosen pattern will accumulate similar results in the near future and possibly even in the distant. Abdelbaset Al Megrahi anyone?

Anyway, as part of the news analysis, they spoke to a Libyan PM pre Gadaffi - http://en.wikipedia....stafa_Ben_Halim - Mustafa Ben Halim, now aged 90. I must admit he sounded very healthy, but for all those depressed that the choice of Libyans for their 2012 DDP Libyan theme team is dwindling, there is one chap to still consider.

think that perhaps there is a God after all...
Oh is this about Gaddafi? I thought everyone was reacting to Westlife splitting up!
"We're today's scrambled creatures, locked in tomorrow's double feature
Heaven's on the pillow, its silence competes with hell
It's a twenty-four hour service, guaranteed to make you tell
And the streets are full of press men
Bent on getting hung and buried
And the legendary curtains are drawn 'round Baby Bankrupt
Who sucks you while you're sleeping
It's the theatre of financiers
Count them, fifty 'round a table
White and dressed to kill."
