The 2016 Hall of Fame "Gorilla Monsoon award for showing up as a guest and looking like near death" winner was Kevin Von Erich. Doing his best Hurricane Higgins circa 2009 impression, he'll do very well to reach retirement age. He's 58 now.

Hurricane Higgins 2009?
No fucking way.

Just more like... Dustin Lance Black a couple years after Tom Daley leaves him for a Belgian darts player that's all.

Further to earlier upthread discussion about the oldest living professional wrestler, Joe D'Orazio, who was one of Mick McManus's tag partners back in the 50s, is still alive at 93.

This forum post says he should be well enough to make a wrestling convention in August of this year, we'll see. Make it 4/6 he gets a Guardian obit when he goes.

Blackjack Mulligan dies: http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2016/0407/609534/wwe-hall-of-famer-blackjack-mulligan-passes-away/

Sad news balanced with second hit on Hare's Dead Pool.

RIP to one of the greats.

1 DDP Team awaits/Bolieves in a qualify obit

QO comes courtesy of the Mirror.

I'll be letting that one be a lesson to me, next time I go to put a wrestler on my team and stop because Bockwinkel didn't get the obit.

Yet another name on my Shadow Team but not on DDP Main. It's getting ridiculous. Still -- 5 hits in various DPs including Shaun's.

ECW original, one half of the Chair Swingin' Freaks and general good guy to watch wrestle if you're 14-years-old, Axl Rotten is dead at 44.

More of a surprise he lasted so long, to be honest. And in fact, that so few of the ECW mainstays have joined the choir invisible, given all those unprotected headshots and casual shared bleeding.

Axl's tag partner, Balls Mahoney, dead too.

He was a good guy to watch wrestle when you were 14 years old. Well, I say wrestle, I mean randomly come out to the ring and hit people in the head with chairs.

Can't believe such a healthy, clean-living man as the one pictured in this video died so suddenly

Was told by my wife. "How did you find out about a wrestling death before me?" I asked. "Oh, I follow Saraya Knight on twitter", she said.

I'm more shocked Chyna got to 45. She was a complete basket case, to put it kindly.

Ms Knight could be a future DDP pick if her husband goes back on the bottle again, allegedly...

Oh, I'm so relieved.

For a second I thought Blac Chyna died.

That is really shitty news. Never been more annoyed to see Spade types be "right" about someone. She was a phenomenon.

Next is The Undertaker. He can't live for long because he's:

1)too tall

2)heavy

3)full of tattoos

4)he tooks steroids when he was younger

5)His streak is over so the company does not need him anymore

6)WWE then will sell little Undertaker graves, build Undertaker Towers, commercialize human parts of the Undertaker, exc.

So he's next. His next opponent at Wrestlemania is death and this time he will lose.

I clicked the link. Hot damn, I wouldn't have recognized him. The man on the picture doesn't look anything like the Brain I used to watch in the ring.
