I'm surprised no one's picked a double whammy of Olivia de Haviland and her sister Joan Fontaine. I know Olivia is on the list but Joanie is a similar age. Apparently they don't speak to each other any more. My other suggestion for next year is Stuart Hall; being sent to prison at that age could send him on a downward spiral quite rapidly. And a long shot... Bill Clinton in a few years. He's starting to look very old.

He's appearing at the Edinburgh Festival again in a few weeks - been doing it for years. And he hands out Smarties to lucky punters who endure his show. I'm not sure he's ready for the final Sale of the Century.

My first post to this forum and I thought I'd opt for this thread as I just laughed out loud on my train with the suggestions for a headline when Mandela finally pops his clogs..although with the way things are going, looks like he could hang on a bit longer yet. He's certainly teasing us with all these ups and downs. I thought he was a goner a few weeks ago. I reckon he's a dead cert for this year though.
