I think he definitely deserves a thread. Most of the former members of the Stooges are (I think) dead, and many of his contemporaries (Reed, Bowie) are dead. But not his younger lookalike Anthony Kiedis.

Always thought Lust for Life was overrated and overplayed.

Literally hear it in every second film about someone with a dysfunctional life, and it's played to death in TV commercials. It's the type of song a middle class boomer blasts from their driver side to let you know they're a dinosaur but they think they're still "down with the kids".
