He wasn't looking too well at the BAFTAs tonight. He was awarded the BAFTA Fellowship.

He certainly was showing his age. Next year maybe?

Not sure I'd even bet on him seeing out this year :(

Recent (February 2013) video here -

Looking his age, but at least he is getting out and about, and he's still working. Indeed, to celebrate his 91st birthday, another heavy metal album has been released, which promises to be 100% heavy metal - http://metro.co.uk/2013/05/23/christopher-lee-to-release-100-heavy-metal-album-on-his-91st-birthday-3807091/

However the title is "The Omens of Death"........

If you count all his TV appearances, from movies over TV series to documentaries, you'll have well over 300. If it is ever possible to show and/or list all of them I don't know, still working on it myself, and it might take me til Lee's age to complete this task!

IMDB is inaccurate as fuck. They lack Lee's voice appearance in the GERMAN dub of the Danish animated feature film Walhalla, for example.

I watched him in a Dracula film that was made in 1958 last night. They don't make them like that these days.It was genuinely scary .As I watched the film I checked on IMDB how many people in the cast were still alive .He was pretty much the only one, along with a couple of actresses

Well duh, he's the only one who can live forever by sucking the blood of mortals. And obviously he must have bitten those two girls and they became vampires too. Didn't you pay attention in science class?

p.s. also it can't have been that good otherwise you wouldn't have been browsing IMDB during it, would ya? If there was ad breaks, then ok.

Anyway, we all know that Peter Cushing got blown up on the Death Star 20 years later.

Ooh, I might give it a quick whizz on iPlayer. I mean, I'll put it on for a bit and see if its any good, not urinate on it or anything.

I always do that when I'm watching old shows or films to see who's alive and who's dead . It is a bit distracting though I must admit

PS condolences to Spike Lee whos brother Christopher Lee has died. Our Christopher Lee is still alive and well though

No sign of him at the Olivier awards tonight (though I did hear friend of a friend stuff saying he had an invite). Does anyone know for sure if he showed/cried off/was even invited?
