Billy Graham turned 90 yesterday...

I have a feeling there's going to be some movement on this thread fairly soon.

Either that or 2008 is a write-off, after a promising start.

Billy, do you feel the Lord, entering your body, off you go Billy ...

Update on Billy Graham's general condition:

As Graham approaches his 91st birthday in November, Lotz says, “He struggles a little bit, I think, with a sense of purpose.“ She says she tells her father that “God has left him here” for a reason—perhaps to become more Christlike as he intercedes in prayer for a troubled world.

This is prodoundly depressing, I picked him for CPDP duties ahead of Barbara Kent, he could last another 12 months at this rate.

Yes, he seems to have quite improved, even enough to meet with Sarah Palin. Pic included, and looks well enough to survive 2010, but he strikes me as one who'll go the second he's removed from the list. :devil2:

His little talk about the Jews, with Nixon, :referee: was interesting.

Hmmm, Billy looks healthier than some other reports suggest.

Breaks retirement once again to defend Chick-fil-A amid anti-gay marriage controversy.

Graham will make a public appearance at a Chick-fil-A on August 1st.

Keep in mind if he eats anything while he's there he'll die of a heart attack on the spot.

Can't believe this asshole... Leave us alone! Die already and save all of us gays from your bigotry.

Sad thing is when he does finally die every news source in America will treat him like one of this nation's finest heroes, only briefly mentioning the Jews conversation with Nixon and his shitty treatment of gay people.

Exactly! The same thing happened with Fallwell. Without Hitchens and Bill Maher, we wouldn't have had anyone to call him on all his wrong doings. I agree, speaking ill of the dead is in poor taste, but dying isn't some shortcut to canonisation.

I never really had much of an urge to eat at Chick-fil-A, now I have even less.

I wish. My DDP score would be much better.

Was a bigot in his own home, and ate his chicken sandwich and waffle fries there. Thought I'd maybe get to see a picture of him ailing, but alas, no. This must mean he's far too sick to leave home though, which is good all around.

I was hoping he'd choke on it.
