Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Recommended Posts

Quite a big one!! Dutch writer and illustrator Dick Bruna died aged 89. He was the creator of Nijntje, or in English Miffy.

Quite a few authors in the last 24 hours. Ved Prakash the most prolific. Plus, Börge Hellström and Jerome Tuccille.

That's great, but please provide the original newslinks in future. This forum isn't to be used as a prop to increase traffic to your website.

She was cremated apparently, which really does fuck up the chances for any smoking guns there. But the fact that Stewart first encountered Bailey because they were both "grieving the loss of their partners".... oof.

Police now investigating the sudden death of his wife 7 years ago, alas there probably won't be any evidence by now.

If they find evidence for that then I can see Stewart getting a whole life tariff.

I'd personally give him a whole life tariff for throwing that little dog in there as well.

Actually this is a case where I wish the punishment really would fit the crime.

So he possibly had something to do with his ex-wife dying (and more? supposition there as he's in his 50s and people dont just get bored and turn into potential serial killers one day) and met his latest victim looking for grieving widows? Fucking hell... It's The Other Woman Accomplice away from being the plot of Evil Under the Sun.

He might take his inspiration from this lady... Merry Widow of Windy Nook.

Jay Cronley, columnist and author, has died. Many of his novels were turned into films, including Good Vibes which became Let It Ride, Quick Change starring Bill Murray and Funny Farm starring Chevy Chase.

I had no idea Quick Change was a novel before it was a film.
