There may be hope. Maybe we could sponsor a game?

Thank you to everyone who attended the Meeting last night.

A proposal for a new Management Team was put forward which received unanimous support. The finer details of the proposal do need to be ironed out so more info will be provided in due course.

The Club still need help 'off field' so please get in touch if you think you can help.

Maybe hold the DL Convention at a Fort William game next season?

I'm loving this cup - who thought there were so many teams worse than the Fort?

Are they beating scratch sides, local care homes or what?

SANDY STRANG

The Club were saddened to hear of the passing of Sandy Strang on Tuesday after a short illness.

We had the great pleasure of meeting Sandy when he performed at our Sportsman's Dinner on 25th March.  All our guests thoroughly enjoyed hearing Sandy speak and think it's fair to say that his version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' will not be forgotten in a hurry.

Condolences to Sandy's family and friends.

NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM

Fort William FC are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Management Team to take forward the ongoing development of the Club.

Effective immediately, Paul MacLellan, Alastair MacPherson and Ali Smith have been appointed as a management and coaching team with the commitment to add to the team over the next few weeks, including adding an Inverness area based coach.

All 3 have played for Fort William FC and have extensive coaching experience having more recently been coaching the under 17's.

These appointments follow the departure of Ally Ewen and Kevin Munro who left the Club as planned after the North of Scotland Cup Final on Saturday.

The Club would like to thank Ally and Kevin for their dedication and commitment over the last few years and wish them every success for the future.

Take forward ongoing development - that sounds ambitious and specifies nowt. They're still our boys, then. Roll on next season

So Fort only lost 1-0 yesterday

This doesn't bode well for another season of ironic appreciation from our end

Considering how shite Rothes and Fort have been over the years that must have been a tight and gripping spectacle for the assembled masses, eh?

How many dozen in attendance?

Fort took a pasting today but their four goals from four games helps them to a -14 goal difference despite the total lack of points

Just good enough to sit a place above Strathspey (pointless and goalless after four games having shipped 16 strikes in their own net)

Normal service is resumed and the race to the bottom will doubtless keep me and PB enthralled until April

Normal service resumed.

Rather surprised at how high both Rothes and Huntly are this season so far given last season....
