He'll be lucky to make 60 now.

I think he should go on the 2018 list if he is still going then.

Athletic Bilbao defender Yeray Alvarez has cancer:

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40537552

Whatever happened to that 18-year old brazilian player who was diagnosed with cancer late last year?

(By the way, it's, again, testicular cancer. So I assume he dopes like all those other sportsmen with testicular cancer.)

Isn't it old news? I thought it was already revealed back in December.

Been keeping tabs on Alan Gow the St Mirren dud since it was revealed last month he had sepsis and was perhaps going to lose part of a finger. Had a few operations and wasn't sure if it was going to spread.Latest via his brothers fb is that it didnt get to the organs and he is recovering bar the finger being lost. Stand down it seems.....original story >>> https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/scottish-news/1113493/ex-rangers-player-alan-gow-lose-part-finger-tiny-cut-cleaning/

I was banging on in the football thread about a great book on non-league football called The Bottom Corner. There's discussion in there of Derik Brooks one of the founders of FA Cup giant killers Eastleigh. He founded the club in 1946 and - unless I'm missing summat - he appears to still be above ground.

No mentions of it anywhere on the Villa fan forums.

Stan Bowles finally got his Testimonial from QPR yesterday, and I believe he was in attendance. Can't find any pictures as yet, but some are bound to surface.
