Shari Lewis died August 2, 1998, aged 65, from viral pneumonia.

 

She was the lady who voiced Lambchop.

Carolyn Jones of 'The Addams Family' fame died of cancer aged 53 on August 3, 1983.

She played Morticia, the wife of Gomez, who was played by John Astin.

'The Addams Family' of ABC ran for the same 2 seasons (1964-1966) as CBS's 'The Munsters'.

Fulgencio Batista, the last man before El Jefe Maximo in charge of Cuba, died 42 years ago aged 72. Castro is 88 proving being a communist leader is much better for you than being any old run of the mill dictator.

Not sure that 300 posts is a figure to be commented about. 1st undoubtedly 100th, maybe 250th, 500th, 1000th and maybe 1000 multiples thereafter.
