You think you can bop the bang

You think you can get the go to be somewhere

You think you got what it takes to give and you think you got what it gives to take

You think you can raise eyes brows and you think you can impress the impressive

You think you are essentially classical with your handsome Clooney smirk and bow tie

Hey Frosty - frown it because I'm about to set you on fire you great for nothing jackaroo

Harry walks the trot and he talks the language

He can throw back his pony tail and paint his bed room

He can wash the dishes instead of buying paper plates

I think he is loud in the library and I think he seduces the local librarian and takes her too Friendlies on Tuesdays

He thinks he can outdo what is already done and still doing

Mcnally thinks he can spice it up with salt

You believe you are priceless and you believe you are the real deal with hardcore value

You believe you can shock everybody with a stun even as the stun is stun-less

You believe you got the moves and the drive and the speed

You think you you got the motion

Well I got your mom

And I say you got the motion of Christopher Reeves in 2002

You think on the flip you got right side of the coin

Well I just picked it up

Walked it to the counter

Bought a Tootsie pop

Gave it to your girlfriend

She is a sucker for candy

You can look bitter

The candy is sweet and so is she

I got an education in mathematics

I found out how many licks

It takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop

You think you can talk the smack

You think you can bring what is already brought

You think you can compromise the encounter

You think you stand on the ground of all grounds

You think you can revolutionize the circumstances

You think you stand where the height is

You think you are professionally charismatic

You think you stand up on the altitude of what matters

You think you got the magnitude of Regis Philben and Oprah Winfrey combined

When I say Arrry I think as if aunt Jemima from the syrup bottle was calling you for breakfast

You think you are the showdown

Well let me tell you Harry Mcnally

Your curtain just got dropped!

Awww, immortalised by the master. I feel like Calliope.

I'd been wondering where my 'mom' had got to - thanks for letting me know.

Do you think you could send me a signed copy, Banshees?

Catholic holidays.

Thanks to Toussaint I have the day off. As I have no dead relatives buried in Belgium I have no obligations to visit a cemetry in the freezing cold and/or rain and can just enjoy the day thinking of all you people back home working your butts off.

Ahhhh lovely.

... (Bangs fists on the podium)

Didn't Nikita Kruschev keep a shoe handy for a similar effect?

Captain, I've heard of this man but I only recognized him from the picture with 'himself and Fidel Castro'

I thought maybe I didn't make myself clear on the leadership paragraph. The reason I wrote 'banging fists on the podium' was because I felt like a dictator saying what I said 'for some reason'. I think all people are on the same level as individuals, not mentioning how much 'money' somebody makes or how much 'class' somebody has. I feel we are all equal and nobody should lay down to a person who tries to dictate or persuade your value or your place.

I think being 'your own person' in so many words is the way 'and the only way' and that's how I see it Captain.

Clamming on Saturday and enjoying steamed clams with the family on Sunday. I watch Lazytown with my grandson, Honez, it is quite good.

After the debate on the gun thread I couldn't help but wonder what weapon could be used to hunt clams. This wonder led me to find

Tonight, I felt a certain way I haven't in a long time. I had a recurrence of very negative feelings and I thought that an effective way to numb the mindset was to think about what makes me happy.

Breakfast (And then the latest death headlines)

Mid afternoon (When it gets shady)

Alcohol (Red wine, rum, and other beverages)

Statistical Analysis (Any, especially interesting facts)

Baseball (Especially night games)

Gambling (It really puts you on the spot, and I like it that way)

Films ( I still have respect for films)

Italian food, Japanese food, very simple food. Simple but quality.

Comedy (We all should learn to laugh at ourselves) if not you can die.

Significant moments in time 'the dramatic ones that give you chills' but you can't resist.

Applause. Reception. Grandness. Night. Debates. One liners. All the great emotions.

Only certain women (ex: Jenifer Luv Hewitt)

Looking under stones (I had to put that one)

Seeing other people happy. It makes me happy. (It's what really matters)

Faire le pont.

Glorious sunshine, I'm guestimating 25+ degrees centigrade and plenty of days to enjoy it. Not only last Friday did we "faire le pont" after May day but this week is another three day affair. With VE day on Thursday and Pentecote on Monday it would be just rude not to faire le pont, making this weekend a five day break! (and a four day week to follow). Vive la France!

Cheeky buggers, the French. They should all be forced to spend VE Day (a.k.a. Cheese-Eating Surrender Monkey Day) learning how to fight properly.

That is extremely rude, yet it carries with it a fair degree of truth.

Well done Sir!

Channel 4's Peep Show, the best 'sitcom' of the noughties. Five series in and it's showing no signs of slacking.

It's on in an hour, by the way.

Sometimes, just sometimes everything is just RIGHT.

The birds are a singing, there is a spring in the step and everything just fits together like a hand in a glove. Happiness.

Today, Ladies and Gents, I feel wonderful!

This article did much to make me smile when I read it.

I don't care what they do with Ross, but for the love of god this must be the beginning of the end for Brand?! In my opinion it has been a long time coming.

Fingers crossed he gets the sack. Everything else crossed that nobody else will employ him!

$50.00 (or whatever equivalent) says that if he's fired by the BBC he crosses the Atlantic and gets a job as a drive time shock jock in NY or LA - or even on satellite radio.
