2 Farts are still packing Susan Atkins and Billy Graham in the line-up of survivors. It's ain't over till it's over, but 22 points on the board and those two amongst the 'talent' leaves the rest of us needing a bit of luck.

Site updated to reflect the death of Paul Birch. Well done to Football Fan and Octopus of Odstock. Incidentally, Birch is only the third hit this year to have been picked by more than one team!

I've started (finally) working on the Hall of Candidates entries and have uploaded all new candidates whose surnames begin with A, so let me know if there are any mistakes. I'm going to try and upload as many as possible this weekend; rather than keep adding new posts, however, I will edit the most recent post of mine in this thread as I upload more letters.

EDIT: A through O have been uploaded.

In the case of Claude Levi-Strauss, the Belgian bonus would apply to him. (being that he was born in Belgium)

Sorted, thanks. I had to actually go back and see how much that one was worth since I hadn't used it in so long!

I found a bug on the Dead to the World page. Every time i click on Leslie Neilsen, it redirects me to the Charlton Heston page. It is supposed to redirect me to Leslie Neilsen.

He doesn't appear to be in the Hall of Candidates either... I'll fix both of those soon.

Site updated to reflect the death of Edward Upward but, more importantly, candidates from A-V have been uploaded.

By my count, I think that I only have two more to upload, so hopefully this will all be done by the end of the day.

The Hall of Candidates has been, finally, fully uploaded. I'm so excited about that, I'm post whoring.

Seriously though, if you notice any mistakes, please let me know and I'll fix 'em up.

B. Ward links to WardB, or Bill Ward, but it should be WardBu (Burt Ward).

That'll be an English language obit from an online news source for Ned Hughes, then.

First hit in a long time too, not one in March 09... it's been quite a while since the CPDP has seen a hitless month. Anyhow, I'll update the site this weekend, probably sooner than later, most likely later today.

Well it's been about a month and a half since the last CPDP hit, but after I missed scoring with Lude Check, I managed to pick up a decent amount of points with Clint Smith, my second hit on my Theme Team.

CP, You missed out on Ian Cundy. He died May 7 2009 from mesothelioma. Could you please update this?

Plenty of acceptable news coverage for the Cund but this should suffice in terms of ensuring points are awarded.

I thought I had a great tip for next year's CPDP - Canadian country music star Charlie Major had more or less disappeared since the end of 2008 and it was rumoured that he was very ill. Well, it turns out that it was actually his sister who was ill and she died of lung cancer the other day. :rip:

I am glad to hear that he's alright though - he and Garth Brooks are about the only two country music stars that I can stand... and there are many who argue that Garth Brooks is not entirely a country musician...

Site updated to reflect the deaths of John Campbell Ross and Tomoji Tanabe - double well done to Never Came To Maryport.

Hmmm... haven't been here in a while... got a lot of posts to catch up on.

Peter Rogers died on April 14, 2009. He should be in the old picks, deceased section, along with Lukas Foss, who also died on February 1, 2009.

Arundell also scored a hit, for Octopus of Odstock's ordinary team.

I wouldn't have known had OoO not mentioned so..

EDIT: Noticed you've already knew and he just was lacking an obit. Never mind.

The CPDP needs to be updated for the near miss for Michael Jackson.
