So it's April 1 in a little while and Weatherman has installed a very large turd over his deathlist saying April Fool underneath it. What am I to deduce from this?

Given that it's Wiki, doesn't that mean any page can be edited by anyone? My guess would be that w90 didn't make that particular addition, given the number of supporters he has here...

 

It's a very realistic turd. And Weatherman's biography does reveal him to be a 15-year-old boy. Nothing wrong with that, except he likes Barry Manilow. Nothing wrong with that except he also likes KC and the Sunshine Band, supports the Republican Party, collects stamps and declares himslef a right winged pyromaniac .

Sure they'll let you in. What am I saying, it's not up to me. It's in Wimbledon colours for exclusivity but it can't be that exclusive - I'm there. It's a bit quiet just now. I was on my own tonight galloping all over the threads until I ran out of steam. Also you feel a kind of pressure (and this is deliberate) to be erudite. Notapotato - good luck to him - I think wants to run a classy joint (well it is Hartlepool) so there's class posters there (best one so far in my opinion by TF, something on drums) and Windsor is a moderat(or). He's tickled pink. My take on it is that it's a kind of Deathlist Groucho's for Damien Hirst and Mariella Frostrup types.

 

It's a very classy looking site - positively exudes class - a real credit to NAP and MH who put it together. But it might struggle to get that critical mass even with the loyal support of fellow deathlisters. After all the criticisms here, people are a bit nervous of starting new threads so there isn't much yet. I kind of wanted to have something on art and literature (I do have a serious farty side) but that kind of thing never works. It always ends up with Corrie (and there's nothing wrong with that). My favourite thread here just now, however, is the foodie one, fascinating looking in to people's fridges.

I've been over there... surreptitsiously (sic!) ... and I personally think they can dissapear (sic ficking again) up their own backsides...which ....I see they...are already doing...without...my...help.... but then again...I'd love it if they invited me...I shall stay here, Notaspud likes me...could prove it with a quote if pushed....

I cannot lock the page, although I have a habit of checking the edit history daily, (anyone can view it by clicking the history tab at the top). Then whenever I see a change to the page that wasn't made by me, I always check to see what they did - and if it was vandalism, then I revert it. Good point though, but I doubt anything will be able to slip past me.

 

On other topics, we already have some excitement in the form of Art Buchwalds perphaps final days, and Charles Haughey's hospital visit.

 

And for Banshees, (and Lady Die, who emailed me in sadness), I will let you both in just for the sake of bringing the total of players to a nice even 20. But only if you get your picks in within say 12 hours from this post. (I'll send you a PM in case you don't read this topic right away).
