Boris Yeltsin former russian president "1991 - 1999" and former deathlist canidate of 7 appearences i think should be reinstated on the deathlist next year. Durning his presidency he was hospitalized 16 times but though failed to die and his health i assume has improved but i bealive he is an alchoholic and still has a good percentage to die somewhere along the road. He hasent been on the list in a couple years but i could see him rejoining the deathlist faimly next year.

As a long shot I put him on my Rotten.com deadpool list in September only to be told that he was getting out and about - even to see CSK Moscow (one of the Russian football teams in Europe)

 

As for other old time football fans Plymouth Argile's Michael Foot looks to be the firm favorite.

 

Then again its my view that if you can get out and about to a match, it only shows you have at least 2 months to go!

Saw Yeltsin on CNN's "where are they now" special today. Looked pretty damn healthy and was apparently living a "healthier lifestyle."

for several years. He had a terrible drinking problem

which now seems to be in the past.

 

He may be brought back someday i'm assuming but

in this day in time his healthy presence is now not wanted

here on the DL.

BERLIN, March 2 (RIA Novosti, Olga Semenova) - Former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin has had a check-up at a German heart center, the clinic said Thursday.

 

"Yeltsin comes in for a check-up with Professor Roland Hetzer every year, following the 1996 operation on his aorta," a clinic representative said. He added that the results could not be disclosed, citing professional ethics.

 

"For his age, and taking into account his heart's workload, Yeltsin looks good. You should ask him how he feels, though."

 

Health problems dogged Yelstin throughout his second term in office, and he underwent major heart surgery in 1996. The former president celebrated his 75 birthday in February.
