Those folks weren't residents of Brinsworth, were they? Fairly sure, for example, Harry Secombe lived at home until he died (in hospital). Quite ill in his later years and part of his intestines burst (likely not a turn on for anyone in the vicinity at the time) but he kept his marbles and didn't need residential care. 

Carmen Silvera died at Denville Hall. I don't know about the others.
