Not sure if getting a book published constitutes a person becoming 'an author' for our purposes (oh technically yes, but please)....but some Kiwi named Celia Lashlie has terminal pancreatic-spread-to-liver cancer and shall be leaving us soon enough. She'll not see 2016 so in not posting it there. I am an experienced DPer and can make that medical determination lol.

Sounds good to me though you provided no LINK. News travels slow from NZ these days I reckon .

Anne Moody, whose memoir "Coming of Age in Mississippi" gave a wrenching account of growing up poor in the segregated South and facing violence as a civil rights activist, has died. She was 74.
