As TMIB says, where Taliban militants and their demise are concerned, there is plenty of hearsay, denials and frankly Bullsh*t to wade through before anything is written in tablets of stone. Happy with Hussain but if Mehsud gets thrown in to the bargain then great. Rightly or wrongly, I won't feel guilty about celebrating these deaths either. [/quote]

I think it would be really helpful to see a Taliban structure chart so we can see where all these No. 2's fit in and who is most Deathlist worthy.

Do they publish an annual report?

Abu Safyan al-Azdi AKA Saeed al-Shahri, another in a long line of al-Queda second-in-commands, has been confirmed to have been killed in a US military operation back in November.

Earlier, when i saw the headline "Pakistani Militant leader killed by Drone Strike" my head went in my hands and I immediately thought..Please not Hakimullah Mehsud.

Prior to submitting my Dead Pool team i noticed Hakimullah had released a new video and statement that claims he may agree to negotiate with the government but most definitely WILL NOT be laying down arms. This was enough for me to remove him from the list as i can't see the US droning the guy if he is almost willing to at least negotiate matters.

I remember the good old days during early 2010, when myself and DDT had Hakimullah on our DDP list and couldn't be certain if he'd been killed in a drone strike or not. Rightly so we never got the points as the new video of him and his mates with AK47's tells us the answer.

They instead seem to have Droned another high profile Taliban militant
