There's probably worse own goals. Like Gary Mabbutt's own goal in an 80s FA Cup final which cost Spurs the game if I remember rightly. That probably carries more comedy value.

The less said about the Andres Escobar's goal the better, though, obviously.....

A BBC report into dementia in footballers (alive or deceased) mentioned that Norwich City legend Duncan Forbes is now in a care home with dementia - http://www.bbc.co.uk...ngland-26817099. He'll definitely obit, he was a colossus for the Canaries for aeons.
